Jaclyn Anderson, MD

Dr. Jaclyn Anderson is a fellowship-trained dermatopathologist who completed her Dermatopathology fellowship at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She completed her Anatomic Pathology residency and Surgical Pathology fellowship at Stanford University School of Medicine and earned her Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine. 

She has received several competitive academic and research honors, including a NIH-supported TL1 Pre-Doctoral Fellowship through the Colorado Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute, an American Association of University Women Selected Professions Fellowship, and the Sara D. Winter, MD Award from the University of Colorado Department of Pathology.

Dr. Anderson has maintained a strong commitment to research throughout her medical career, contributing to more than 50 peer-reviewed publications and presentations in dermatology and dermatopathology. Additionally, her scholarly work also includes broader issues in dermatology such as skin of color representation, disparities in dermatologic education, and ethical considerations in dermatology. She has presented her research endeavors at various national medical societies, such as the American Society of Dermatopathology, American Academy of Dermatology and United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology.

Advancing medical education is another enduring theme of Dr. Anderson’s career. She has experience in both curriculum design and longitudinal trainee education, including the development of multiple courses at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and leading specialized dermatopathology lecture series at both Brown and Stanford University. Through these efforts, Dr. Anderson continues to share her passion for dermatopathology while helping trainees build confidence in understanding and diagnosing complex dermatologic diseases.
