Dr. David J. Dolson

Dr. David J. Dolson received his medical degree from the University of Florida. He completed an Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology residency, followed by a combined Cytopathology and Surgical Pathology Fellowship at the University of Florida. During his training he was awarded a fellowship by the American Cancer Society and won the Alfred Lewis Memorial award from the Florida Society of Pathologists. Following this training, he stayed on at the University of Florida as an Assistant Professor of Pathology, where he received several awards, including the medical school-wide Teacher of the Year award (for basic science teaching), as well as Teacher of the Year in the Department of Pathology (awarded by the pathology residents and fellows). Dr. Dolson continued his training at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Fellow in Dermapathology. Prior to joining Dermatology Associates, he was a partner at KWB Pathology Associates, where he was the medical director of the outpatient laboratory for over 12 years. Dr. Dolson, who has authored book chapters and several academic papers relating to pathology, is board certified in Dermatopathology, Anatomic and Clinical pathology, and Cytopathology. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Florida State University College of Medicine.
